Summary
This 1936 vintage photo of the 800 block of Virginia Street is so frigid that I thought about holding it until July so my readers might get some relief from the summer heat. But whenever you see this winter scene of Charleston 70 years ago, it reminds us that our grandparents had the same problems with old Jack Frost that we do.
