About 60 percent of West Virginians said they had seen a dentist in the past year, according to federal health statistics.
The numbers are worse for people with low incomes. Among state residents who make less than $15,000 a year, only 35 percent said they had gone to the dentist in the past 12 months, according to statistics from 2002 compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.See the full content of this document
