Rick Wolford, president of the Kanawha County Master Gardeners Association, has so much enthusiasm about the organization and about gardening, it's hard not to share his joy. I talked to Rick recently and he told me why he took the class.
"My wife, Alison, and I took the class because we had a desire to learn more about the projects we were doing in our yard," he explained. "We thought it was a club ... we just walked into one of the classes and then we were told you had to go through the class to be in the group," Wolford said, laughing.
