Summary


Rick Wolford, president of the Kanawha County Master Gardeners Association, has so much enthusiasm about the organization and about gardening, it's hard not to share his joy. I talked to Rick recently and he told me why he took the class.

"My wife, Alison, and I took the class because we had a desire to learn more about the projects we were doing in our yard," he explained. "We thought it was a club ... we just walked into one of the classes and then we were told you had to go through the class to be in the group," Wolford said, laughing. His favorite session was one on pruning led by Harry Wise.
