Alice Carmalena Adams, 35, of Nitro passed away Friday, May 29, 2009, in Columbus, Ohio.
Alice was born December 9, 1973, in South Charleston. She was a 2008 graduate of Garnett Career Center, Licensed Practical Nurse program, and had served as a nurse since. She was a member of the Teays Valley Baptist Church, where she served on the nursery staff and was a member of the choir. She also served the bus ministry as a bus captain and volunteered for many other services, as well. Alice was a godly mother and will be sadly missed by all who know her.She is survived by her three children, Terrence Terrell, Lexxus Chardonay, and Elijah James; her mother, Rosemary Johnson; her father, Phillip A. Adams Sr.; and her brother, Phillip Andrew Adams Jr.Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Teays Valley Baptist Church, 3926 Teays Valley Rd., Hurricane, with Dr. John D. Smith officiating.
