MORGANTOWN - Don Nehlen, who retired after the 2000 season as West Virginia University's winningest head football coach, has been elected to the West Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.

He will be inducted on Sunday, May 7, at the West Virginia Sports Writers Association's 60th annual Victory Awards Dinner to be held at the Lakeview Resort and Conference Center in Morgantown. That fete honoring high school and college athletes and coaches will begin at 4 p.m.
