MARTINSBURG - Eastern Panhandle residents and the West Virginia Historic Preservation Office are putting together a proposal to save historic sites throughout the region.
A draft of the Comprehensive Preservation Plan will be written soon incorporating ideas from area residents gathered during meetings in the Eastern Panhandle and Potomac Highlands. Troy Body, commissioner of the Division of Culture and History, said a consultant will be hired to research residents' ideas and come up with a legislative proposal before the end of the 2006 legislative session in March.See the full content of this document
