In spring, my eyes can fix on the pink in the blossom of my weeping cherry. My eyes send this question to my brain: Could there be a prettier sight?

But my eyes turn to the bright yellow in the daffodils at the feet of the cherry. My eyes move from pink to yellow, but they telegraph the same message to my brain.
