Appalachian dental-disease study expands

MORGANTOWN - A federal grant of $750,000 will expand the largest- ever study of dental disease in Appalachia, recruiting 150 more families for the research.

The West Virginia University School of Dentistry, which is conducting the study along with researchers at the University of Pittsburgh, announced the grant Friday.
